Laser cut rib cutter as drawn by John Berryman (wordguy on Hip Pocket).
Now back in stock. This is a really nice tool to have.
Price: $25 delivered to the US.
Assembly instructions:
The wood is typically shipped wrapped paper covering at the laser cutter. You need to remove it.
The base with words goes on the bottom with the plexiglass screwed in at the top.
The slider goes underneath the plexiglass. You can press down on the plexi and the form to hold everything tight for cutting.
The base should be taped to the cutting mat.
I typically make my rib forms out of 1/16″ plywood and butt that against the slider.
The wood gets taped down – Sometimes this is under the slider itself. I use blue painters tape with some stick removed.
i.e. put on shirt and remove.
Then cut the first cut. Remove excess. Adjust slider and cut first rib. Remove, slide, cut, repeat.
Mike,
Are any of these rib slicers left? If so, I would like to order one.
Thanks,
David
